Sandy & Kids

Sandy saw the kids this evening for the first time since Tuesday. They had made huge posters (thank you Margo!) and were anxious to give them to her. Everyone's spirits were high. Rachel and Michelle were very glad to see mommy and vice versa. The kids were impresed with the view from the 4th floor, the fact that you order food off a menu just like room service, and the tv/vcr/dvd combo player. They thought the room looked just like a room at the Marriott on an Allstate payoff, and Michelle kept looking for the Honor Bar Fridge. (Yes, we definitely need to camp more!!!) :) They also liked the "Darth Vader" looking black and white looking neck collar mommy had on. I told them she was in training to be a Storm Trooper.

I've plugged the phone back on, (although if no one is in the room, Sandy can't answer it) and am ok with short and sweet visits as long as you are healthy. Exit off of the 210 at Buena Visita in Duarte and go left and follow the signs. You'll want to take a right at the first driveway and make your way to the brand new Helford Hospital. Parking is a little tricky, so I would pull right up to the vallet parking at the front door. You'll pay $4, but it's probably worth it. Check in and then go to the 4th floor, room 4111. Saturday is probably your best bet. Sunday afternoon is good too. Call me at (909) 815-7213 if you are not sure. Jon
