Shoulder Pain!

Just a quick update this evening. Sandy has been in tremendous shoulder pain all week, and this time in the right shoulder, which is the opposite of where the pain was about 3 weeks ago. At the moment, she is at The City of Hope emergency room department trying to get authorization for another steroid shot. She has been there since 10:00 AM this morning. (If only we were friends with some of the New York Yankees - I'm sure we could get a steroid shot quicker!) Thank you to Cindy who took her, and Dr. Laura for sitting with her today. Also thank you to Lalaine, Valerie, and Sheri for helping out with the kids. We are not sure where this pain is coming from or why? (She may have frozen up her shoulder when we beat the Fees in Ping Pong on Friday night, and if so, I would count that as completely worth it!) The COH doesn't think it's cancer related, but they have to run a series of tests anyway. Fortunately, she is running out of shoulders! (Good one Trina!) Pray that she can get the injection Thursday morning, and that she gets relief as soon as possible. When a woman who had a broken neck for a few months tells you that her pain is an 8 or 9, I tend to get worried...........
