Jumping for Hope

I have to make this quick because I am posting between Women's Snowboarding and Men's Ice Skating!!!

I feel guilty for not posting since last Tuesday, but it has been a busy time. Michelle's entire school had a fundraiser called "Jump for Hope & Haiti" last week. It was fun to see the kids so enthusiastic and having fun for two good causes.

Our family got away this past weekend to Big Bear, and it was beautiful! We had a very relaxing time. On Valentine's Day, Jon and the girls took snowboard lessons. They are all bruised and banged up and in complete awe of the Olympic events that have snowboarding in them!

Michelle was selling Girl Scout Cookies a couple of weekends ago, and we knocked on a door of a lovely neighbor who recognized us through this Blog! She bought some cookies, and called some friends in our neighborhood to purchase cookies. They also told me that I was on their prayer list. I was deeply touched at the network of prayer that goes on for me and my family. It is no wonder that God has gifted us with a miracle!

Chemo continues to be going well. I have one more week and then I get scanned again. I am asking for prayer for wisdom for my doctors. When the scans confirm what was seen two months ago, I have a decision to make regarding staying on chemo or going back to an oral medication. It would be nice not to have chemo every week.

I can never thank you enough for your thoughts and prayers for us. It is an amazing gift to have someone take the time to pray for healing and guidance for our family. God has taken care of part of the healing process, and I know that more is yet to come!

God Bless,
Sandy
P.S. Rats! The women's snowboarder is out!
