Cruising with Mickey

It is nice to be home after a ten day vacation to Florida where we stayed in Disney World and took a Disney Cruise. It is funny because each time you arrive back at your Disney Hotel, there is a greeter that says, "Welcome Home!" After awhile you really believe that you could live there permanently where someone cleans and cooks for you. It has been a luxury to not have to grocery shop or plan meals! I think that we brought home an extra twelve pounds between us all!

It was nice to take a break and really let your mind be free of all life's worries. It has been a long time since we took a long vacation. It was fun sleeping in the same room and being so close to each other, however, by the end of the trip we were longing for our own beds and stuff. All of a sudden, we realized we did not want Disney World to be our home.

They say "Home is where the heart is" and our heart is in La Verne, California. We are blessed to have had fun and create memories, but we are also blessed that we have each other (and Buddy).

One of the best moments came when I was exhausted from walking all day, and I realize I had no pain, and I did not need a nap. All good things after radiation for achy legs! In fact, I felt better on vacation than I have all year! Hallelujah!!!!

Our family has a lot to be thankful for. We have come through a storm with peace and joy. There is no guarantee that another storm is not around the bend, but for now we will enjoy the warmth of the Son. Thank you for all of your prayers!!!!

God Bless,
Sandy
