Hi All,
I want you to know that your prayers have really helped. I am feeling better than I ever thought I would after four weeks of radiation. I am still tired in the afternoon/evening, but not dibilitating. So far, I am able to function fairly well. A real help was cutting the morning morphine pill; I was able to maintain the pain in my legs without it. I will continue to be on pain meds for another two weeks and then back off and see if the leg pain is gone.
Meanwhile, I will probably have a vertebroplasty in the next couple of weeks. This is a new procedure that repairs fractures of the bone (due to cancer). This will be a minimally invasive prodedure that will be done at COH. I will keep you posted on the date.
