"The Shack"

I asked a male friend the other day if he had read "The Shack" yet? He looked at me a little funny and said, "that he didn't know that Shaq (the basketball player) had a new book out?" (Doesn't that say everything about our male culture?) I then explained that "The Shack" is a new work of Christian fiction by William Young, and it didn't have anything to do with Shaq O'Neil. Or Kobe for that matter...........thank goodness!

Now I won't waste your time with a book review, and I certainly don't want to ruin the story for you, but folks, this book is a must read! If you have ever struggled with the question, "If God is all powerful and full of love, why doesn't He do something about all the evil and pain in this world?" this book is for you. You will laugh. You will cry. You will rejoice. This powerful, well written book will touch your soul and get you to think about your faith in a new way. I can't recommend it enough, and I look forward to hearing from you after you have read it. Be sure to post your thoughts and insights about the book when you are done, and I'll give you mine!

PS: I'd also like to thank my cousin Michele for giving me the book as a gift, and my friend Bryan for suggesting a while ago that I read it. I'm very grateful to you both!
