We sang the following song during our worship time a few weeks ago at Glenkirk. I asked for the words because they especially touched my heart after being so sick. These simple words can be a great comfort for any trial that we are faced with. I received a real visual when I sang these words. I saw Jesus shielding me and leading me, through the harshest of weather, to a place of refuge and peace. It is the kind of peace that only comes through trust in Christ; the one who makes all dark places light again.
The song is called "Lead Me" by Brenton Brown
Lead me, lead me
Lead me to the Rock
Lead me, lead me
Lead me to the Rock
When the fire comes
When the strong winds blow
Precious Savior take my hand
I can count on You, my Foundation's Stone
Rock of Ages You will stand
I just spent a 1/2 hour trying to lead you to the place where you could hear this song, but for some reason it is not available (so don't waste your time). I guess we are just meant to take in the words and sing our own melody.
Love,
Sandy
