Words from Michelle

We are often asked how the kids are doing. We always say that they are doing well and that we do not see any signs of stress or concern. Every night they pray for their mom to be healed, and they are very aware of the prayers and support that our family receives. Every once in awhile somthing comes up that reminds us that underneath all the smiles and laughter, there are some deep feelings of what our new reality is. Michelle was given an assignment in class to write someone a letter. Here are her deepest thoughts that she has agreed to share with you.

Dear Mom and Dad,

You are very nice. I am proud of you for fighting cancer. You are fighting it and you can do it. I believe in you. I feel like when you are hurt God is with you. I love you because you are just amazing.

Mom, you are the best for fighting cancer. You are very brave to have all these shots and surgery. I love you so much. Somtimes I get mad, but you are still #1. I sometimes think how brave you are in all of this mess.

Dad, I love you and to have a wife going through cancer, your cool. I love you too. I hope your foot heals, but like I always say, God could heal anything. I love you and that will not change.

Love,

Michelle
