Jon and I met with my Neurosurgeon today to go over the test results from last week. The Mylogram came back negative, and has finally ruled out any question of something pressing on my spinal cord and causing the electrical charges. It is unfortunate that I had a reaction to the dye from the mylogram, which caused my seizure. The spinal fluid that was taken does not show anything we need to be concerned with. The brain MRI did not show anything different than before. We all agree that the cage in my neck is the obvious cause of this tingly feeling. At this point it is something I will have to live with, and hope it does not get worse.
My doctor thought it would be better for me to reduce my seizure medication to half a pill. My brain is very foggy on the meds, and I look forward to getting some energy back. He stood firm on his opinion that I do not drive for thirty days. That is going to be hard, but I am cutting myself a break for the time being.
Thank you for your prayers and support. I don't understand why God needed to slow me down, but I am trying to listen and obey orders. Jon and the girls are amazing!
Love to all,
Sandy
