It is hard to describe the inner joy I have on Easter morning. After a week of reflection on the sacrifice that Jesus made for me, I wake up on Sunday with great excitement and emotion. I am humbled to the core that God would go to such extremes to pay for my sins. I can't imagine what it was like for those who walked on this earth with Jesus and then saw him die so tragically. What an incredible sight for them all when they saw him alive three days later!
As I get closer to the one year mark of discovering I have cancer, I look back and see how He has taken a very sad and dark time and turned it around for His glory. God does things in ways that we could have never anticipated. I could write about all the reasons why I believe without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus was resurrected from the dead, but it would still require some faith. There is enough evidence, but you have to want to see it for yourself. I just refuse to limit the power of my God. He can create the world in seven days, cause a huge flood to destroy the earth, part the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, put a baby in the womb of a virgin, and bring His only son back to life after three days. If you want to get a glimpse of His plan for your life, it requires hope and faith. When you turn your life over to Him, there are no limits to what He can do in your life!
He is Risen Indeed!
